In preparation for the first round of the Vertu Mini Challenge Trophy first round, we went to Snetterton for some winter testing to blow off the Christmas cobwebs. The aim of the day was to learn the circuit in new machinery and to make sure that I was comfortable in the car as we tried a new seat and steering wheel.
The day was incredibly wet and windy, providing perfect conditions to learn the wet tyre compound. Instructed by Ed Pead, I managed to pump in more competitive times despite inexperience in the challenging conditions.
Overall it was a great day of prep as we move towards the start of the season!
